Your IVF Journey in China

Understand the typical treatment process and plan your visit with confidence.

Step 1 — Before You Travel

Initial Consultation & Preparation

Consult a fertility specialist, review your medical history, and complete necessary preliminary tests. Some tests may be completed in your home country, subject to the hospital's requirements.

Step 2 — In China

Ovarian Stimulation & Egg Retrieval

Ovarian stimulation typically takes 10–14 days, followed by egg retrieval. Patients should generally plan around 2–3 weeks in China for this stage, depending on their treatment plan.

Transfer & Follow-Up

Embryos may be transferred in the same cycle or frozen for a later transfer. Depending on the treatment plan, a second visit to China may be necessary.

Step 3 — Embryo Transfer

Treatment schedules vary depending on individual medical conditions, hospital protocols, and whether additional genetic testing is required.
